BarackRock.org started with one song and a desire for change.
It has grown into a movement of musicians and artists creating an ever-expanding catalogue of free, exclusive songs, each with its own individual art, meant to inspire participation and donations for the Obama Campaign. These are unreleased tracks and demos, only available here and now, so plug in your headphones and make a difference!

About

Musician Jack Dolgen had a song and an idea: sell his track to raise money for Barack Obama. As he and designer Andrew Ackermann tossed the concept around to their friends in the music and design worlds, the idea grew into I Wrote You A Song, a place that gives art political power. The first campaign is BarackRock.org.

BarackRock.org uses music and design to bring people from around the world together under one banner and channel their energy into a unified force. The website is an ever-expanding archive of free, exclusive mp3s, each with its own individual art, meant to inspire a donation to a worthy cause. BarackRock.org will operate as a way raise money and enthusiasm for Barack Obama. The I Wrote You a Song model will be used to achieve other goals in the future. The political change we’re working towards won’t come by itself. The more downloads we get, the larger our impact can be, so spread the word!

These are unreleased tracks and demos, only available here, and only available now, so plug in your headphones and make a difference.
